On Saturday, the first day of HFC '09, we introduce the Floorball Street Run competition where three-player-strong teams compete in a race of quick pace and high skills. All teams in HFC '09 get to participate for free, and on Street Run team per team is allowed.
All series winners are awarded with 100 floorball balls.

Tournament passesEvery player and team staff member needs to have a tournament pass. The pass costs 12 € / person.

At the tournament, passes can be bought from Tournament Info for 15 euros. For people who buy their passes during the tournament, t-shirts will be sent by mail by week 3/2009 at the latest.

The last day of registration is December 14, 2008.
The entry fee and tournament passes have to be paid by then.
After filling out and sending the registration form, you get an invoice which you can print out to a hard copy.
Teams can buy more tournament passes during the tournament at the Tournament Info Desk for 15 €. People who buy their passes during the tournament will get their t-shirts by mail by week 3/2009 at the latest.
The Game Schedule will be sent to teams before Christmas, by December 22 at the latest.
The tournament is held at Arena Center Myllypuro ED STATION. ED STATION is a true floorball shrine with seven full-size and one mini floorball fields. And let's not forget the Bowling Arena and all the other great places ED STATION has to offer.

Teams can eat lunch at ED STATION. Lunch orders have to be made at least 8 days before the tournament.

When sending your lunch order, please remember to include the following information: team name, contact person during tournament and how many people will be eating. The exact lunch time for your team can be negotiated after game schedules have been published. The invoice of the lunch will be sent by email.
Lunch orders have to be made eight (8) days before the tournament. Invoice will be sent before the tournament, and it has to be paid in order to get the lunch coupons. Unused lunch coupons cannot be returned.
The tournament will be played according to the regulations of the Finnish Floorball Federation (SSBL) with the following adjustments.
System:
In the preliminary rounds teams are divided into categories. After the first series are played, each team's placing in their own category determines the rest of the schedule. A more specific schedule will be published later.
The placing of a team in a category is determined by acquired points. For a victory a team receives two (2) points, for a draw one (1) point and for a loss zero (0) points. In the case of teams ending up with the same amount of points, they are compared according to:
Match regulations:
Regular playing time is 2 x 15 minutes, of which the last 3 minutes are effective playing time. During the regular playing time (excluding the effective 3 minutes), time can ONLY be stopped by the referee.
Team manager
The person who has been named the team manager is responsible for the whole team during the tournament, inside as well as outside the venue. They are also accountable for the communication with the organising committee. The team manager has to be over 18-years old. The organising committee is not responsible for any injuries, medical expenses or theft. It is recommended to obtain a sufficient insurance.
Identity control
The organising committee has the right to determine the identity of players. The team manager is responsible for making sure that each member of a team has a valid identification card (with photo) or passport with them.
Protests
A protest can be held if the rules and regulations of the tournament are broken or if there are any differences concerning the tournament. If a protest is made against a referee's decision, the referee must be informed immediately after the game. The protest must be delivered in writing to the organisers at latest 10 minutes after the end of the match. The protest is to be a closely detailed argument and it is followed by a protest fee of 100 €, which is returned in case the protest is accepted. The verdict of the jury cannot be questioned.
Walk-over
If a team does not have at least five (5) field players and a goalkeeper on the field after the playing time has started, the match is forfeited. The fouling team is excluded from the tournament and its earlier matches are annulled. The jury has the right to make an alternate decision in case of a sufficient argument.
